Exciting times, Skegness Stadium Drift and Show day / night
Guys, theres something happening with Skeggy stadium in the near future which could be right up our (Lincsdriver) street!!
Starting in the spring of 2010, theres a bunch of well known guys on Driftworks are working with Skeggy Stadium to bring a number of events held in the day/evening over the course of the year.
Basically a Drift / Show and Shine / Entertainment show etc.
Dirt cheap to get in, you can drift to your hearts content, prizes for best of show etc etc etc.
See this link....

Its basically the same format by the guys who ran the legendary Essex Arena nights back in the day (im talking Cruise Lincs in terms of timeline)
I've had contact from one of the organisers, aftering posting that LincsDriver will support....seeing as we are the premier club in Lincolnshire
"hi
thank you for the intrest
Would be great to have a chat and could give you a heads up on what i would like to do at skeggy,
basic day for us is a track day for drift what you like! we could and would like to incorporate a car show along the lines of the cruise nights,
all the usal show shine etc, for that part we have a guy that has organised many events and he can sort the outline for me, we have helped run a few oval cruise nights in essex a few years back and had a lot of fun,
we would like to keep the prices as low as we can and we can also invite the car mag people along,
we have some drivers that are backed by the retro ford mag, and we have a few drifters that are using old and new Fords ( MK1 and 2 escort and new shape mustang!!)as well as all the jap and german stuff
we can also use the track for power timed laps, cat and mouse 3 lap dash etc, for that side it would be good to have you and your members input into what they would like as well.
we will do some demo's with the drift cars as well and poss passenger rides but still waiting to confirm that,
we have run at Kings Lynn for 2 years now and are well established drift practice and tution days,
you and any of your members are welcome to come along and bring there cars to any of our track days, we can park them up nice and safe and we do get a bit of a crowd
we also do flat out passenger rides for £1 (maybe £2 depends on the insurance)
we have a covered grandstand to watch from and we do not charge for spectators,
the cafe is open most of the day as well
would like your thoughts if this would be of intrest to you, cheers
and regards malc "
So, are we gonna reprezent

Looks like the first day will be held end of March, with a couple of main events in July / August.
